The RED under 11 team led by Ethan Zohar who assisted on the winning goal and scored the clinching third goal with a backward header won the league championship. The thrilling match saw the REDs dominate from the start scoring two goals in the first 15 minutes. A slight let down saw the YELLOW team gain some momentum when they scored their first and only goal of the match before half-time. Good defensive work including excellent goal keeping kept the REDs in the game and they scored the third and decisive goal with 10 minutes left in regulation time. A large contingent of RED supporters cheered the Champions from the sidelines. One in particular was screaming encouragements and berating the weak referee for questionable "no calls". Under normal circumstances he should have been removed from the field but the referee failed to take action. Final score RED 3 YELLOW 1
